The title says it all... «Is love supposed to last?» - a heretical question, I know... Still: Does the wish to commit oneself to one person for life still make sense in our fast moving era? Shouldn't we consider the fact that things are changing way too fast, that we are all changing way too fast, so as to stay with the same person over decades? What about a pleading for ones very personal liberty for life instead...?
